On Map D, a portion of the route will be closed due to the opening of the Bonnet Carre Spillway near Norco. For about 2 months (until May 2018), River Rd. will be flooded. To detour, use U.S. Highway 61. See a map of the detour route here: http://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/1966590257

Thanks for the update!

I think ACA should include this in the maps the next time they update it.  It is not that uncommon that they close it and it would be easy to show.
