Cue Cards for north lakes route
« on: March 21, 2018, 07:48:37 pm »
I've got the North lakes mapset, and am considering a trip this year.  This is my first experience with ACA maps.

Is there anywhere I can get cue cards for the route?  I could use a map clip on the ACA maps, but the print is a little small/dense.   There's several obvious options, but I am hoping that this might already exist and save some hassle.

(Yeah, I know I could just load it into GPS, but I like cue cards)

Nope.  Microprint is the wave of the future.  Unfortunately, the future has passed me by. Some people carry one of those "credit card" magnifiers and just stop when they need to review the map.  Have a great trip!  John

I take a stack of 3x5 cards and make my own cue cards each day. That way the mileage on the cue card matches my bike computer, and the text size is just right for my eyes. I just slip the cue cards into my map case next to the map.

Whether using ACA maps or my own route, I map things on RWGPS and then make paper cue sheets. I call them my PGS--Paper Guidance System. Great for starting campfires at the end of the day.
