Tire pressure gauge - suggestions?
« on: August 29, 2018, 02:00:16 am »
I'm looking for a reliable and durable tire pressure gauge. It's going to be used on both a road bike and a mountain bike so it must register to at least 100 psi.  Any suggestions?

Thanks much.

I rely on the pressure gauge built into my pump, which is adequately accurate on a good quality pump.  The problem with separate gauges is the very act of measuring the pressure changes it due to the volume of air used by the gauge.  For small volume road tires this can be significant.

For large, low pressure MTB, and particularly Fat Bike Tires, a road bike gauge isn't accurate enough at very pressure and a separate pump/gauge is better.
