That part of Ohio is generally well-populated with good paved local roads.  It would be hard to go wrong.  There are good paper maps available too, if you use paper.  One caution on that: some of the counties renamed the roads to a numbered grid system, about 15 years ago.  There are still paper maps around with the old names.  Ask me how I know...

Have a good trip.

Ok Canalligator, I'll bite... How do you know about the maps and roads of NW and Central Ohio?

Thanks for engaging me on this. I have ventured in around Upper Sandusky, Findlay and Tiffin.

We rode from Chicago to Cleveland about ten years ago.  I'd purchased the Rand-McNally Northeast Ohiomap. It had a slip of paper in it saying that some road names had changed.  Some?  Entire counties were wrong!  We got where we were going, mostly by state routes and deduction, but like Dan'l Boone, we were a might bewildered once or twice.
