***UPDATE ON MUD CREEK SLIDE***
Great news for folks traveling through Big Sur. The Mud Creek Slide, south of Gorda that the DOT didn't think they'd have repaired until September will be opening at the end of July! Caltrans has announced the Mud Creek Slide construction zone on SR 1 will be opened to traffic beginning July 20, 2018.
