TransAm Trail McKenzie Pass status update as of June 2018

Is McKenzie Pass (OR 242) officially open for cyclists as of June 2018? Thinking of biking through there from Eugene on my way to Baker City in July. I would much prefer this route than going through the Santiam Pass. Thoughts?
