There is extensive road construction on SR A1A/200 from I-95 east to Amelia Island. Completion is currently scheduled for summer 2020. Bike lanes and shoulders are missing so cyclists should avoid riding the highway during rush hours. Kyle at SuperCorsa Cycles on Amelia Island has provided an online detour between Yulee and Amelia Island which is safer: https://www.supercorsacycles.com/touring
