Are bicycles allowed over the Richmond to San Rafael bridge near San Francisco?...

From what I see on the Marin County Bicycle Map, this is not currently allowed.

There are plans to add a separated bike path to be completed by 2019. However, this looks to be a bit up in the air at the moment.

The plan: https://mtc.ca.gov/our-work/plans-projects/bicycle-pedestrian-planning/richmond-san-rafael-bridge-bike-pedestrian-path

Article about the plan being reconsidered: https://www.eastbayexpress.com/oakland/bicycle-path-for-richmond-san-rafael-bridge-may-be-used-for-cars/Content?oid=17990167
