Navigator App vs GPX Data Question

Just to be clear - it looks to be necessary to purchase (and download) one set of digital info to use on your phone with the "Route Navigator App", and then another purchase/download for the GPX data and your Garmin device. Is that correct? One set of info does not translate to the other platform? Thank you in advance for any info.

That is correct, the Bicycle Route Navigator App is self-contained. Route data is purchased within the app and may not be exported. The .GPX Data exists for those that want to use a Garmin or similar GPS device. You can also use the GPX data on a number of third party routing and navigation apps available for mobile devices.

The Bicycle Route Navigator App is designed to be easy to use. The GPX Data is available for the user with more advanced needs that have the desire to use the data on GPS units or third party applications of their choosing.
