In Defiance, the Clinton St. bridge is under construction and closed until fall 2019. Here is the detour.
Eastbound: At the intersection of Clinton St. and W. 2nd St. turn right onto W. 2nd St. which becomes E. 2nd St./SR 18. Ride 2.1 mi. and turn left onto Domersville Rd./SR 281. Ride 0.9 mi., crossing the Maumee River. At the light, turn right onto unsigned Deerwood Ct. Ride 0.1 mi. at "T", turn left onto unsigned SR 424 and rejoin route.
Westbound: At sign toward SR 281, turn right. In 0.1 mi., at light, turn left onto Domersville Rd./SR 281. Ride 0.9 mi., crossing the Maumee River. At light, turn right onto SR 18 which becomes E., then W. 2nd St. Ride 2.1 mi. At the intersection of W. 2nd St. and Clinton St. turn left and rejoin route.
