LA (Burbank) to Vegas

Is anyone aware of a route?  Looking for only paved roads and to avoid Interstate 15, even if it means going quite a bit out of the way.  Thanks in advance!

I don't have a specific route just a general outline.  Burbank to Santa Clarita. Santa Clarita to Lancaster.  Lancaster to Inyokern/Ridgecrest.  Inyokern to Death Valley NP.  Death Valley to Pahrump.  Pahrump to Vegas.  This should be 100% paved.  Check google maps for the surface streets.  Out of Lancaster you will have to take Hwy 14 but it has a good shoulder.
