Great Rivers South (2018) Section 3 Map 47, River Road closed west of Norco

As you ride ontop the levee coming into Norco and need to take the river road at turn "F" on the map, the River Road is closed and underwater. 
The us Army Core of Engineers may have somone posted on the levee to direct you 6-1/2 miles around on SR 628 and Hwy 61 to get around the Bonnet Caree floodway. This will take you into Norco and then back to the levee where you can ride the paved trail into New Orleans. 

We were there on July 7th,  but further flooding may have occurred because of the threat of a hurricane. Stay safe out there!
