POI Abbreviation
« on: August 07, 2019, 09:09:06 pm »
So I just purchased my first ACA map...the Wilmington, NC to Statesbiro, GA segment of the Atlantic Coast route. It seems pretty straight forward, but I keep trying to figure out an abbreviation...if I missed something simple/clear, I apologize.

Everynow and then a yellow marker with the black "x" or cross sort of mark appears and says CS4 or CS 5.  What does CS mean?

Hello PastorJoe,

The abbreviation CS means Convenience Store.

Also, the symbol should be blue with an apple and a bottle of juice or milk. Check for an app update soon to correct this.

Best,
Jennifer

So, Jennifer...or anyone else.

I do see that at least one CS is the blue you mentioned, but not rest.  I'll keep checking.

So, is there a list, or place to check, on abbreviations used?  I guess after I ride a route/piece of a route it may begin to make sense.  (And maybe if I wasn't such a cheapskate and would spring for the paper map as well...all of this would make sense!) :)
