Hey, first timer here. I'm working out details of a 2 week bike tour in Portugal in November, renting a bike in Lisbon and heading out solo. Tentatively planning to swing out to Evora, then head south to Faro/Lagos, heading back to Lisbon along coastal route. Hostels: good experiences? I speak no Portuguese -- not a major problem, I hope. Have visitors found that residents know and deal with cyclists, or...? Any real issues that you had to deal with cycling in Portugal? Thanks for input!
