Does anyone have information on the route closures in the Navajo nation?  Thanks

According to the Navajo website, as of a couple of days ago, all roads are closed to outsiders until further notice.  See  https://www.navajo-nsn.gov/ for info.

Roads that are marked as tribal roads are closed to non-residents of the Navajo nation.  You should still be able to use US Hwy 89 even though it passes through the western edge of their land as it is a major north-south route but don't leave the main hwy.  Be prepared for all the services in the Navajo Nation to be closed.

Yes, I'm pretty sure that all the county, state and federal highways that traverse the Navajo Nation are still open. It's only the Nation-owned roads (5000 miles of them) that are closed to visitors.

Desert View and the Grand Canyon East Entrance (on map 10) remain closed because of COVID-19 lockdowns on the neighboring Navajo Nation. You can only enter and exit the park through the South Entrance.

As of 4/8/2021, Desert View and the Grand Canyon East Entrance (on map 10) have reopened. The Navajo Nation still has COVID-19 restrictions, so when you are riding US89 try to not stop at any services. https://www.nps.gov/grca/learn/news/grand-canyon-re-opens-east-entrance-gate-4-8-2021.htm
