Does anyone have a route they like through San Antonio, going east-west, through or just north of downtown?

I used https://cycle.travel/map to route me to, through and out of San Antonio. It did a good job of keeping me on quiet roads for most of it.

I have a GPS route (not map) that can get you from Brackettville to San Antonio and then SE to Gillett from which you can take another route NE to LaGrange, SE to Port Lavaca (then east to Galveston & Houston), or SW to Mexico.

Private message me if you would like any of them.

Close, but no cigar:  thru San Antonio via D/T & the Alamo - but north to south!

In the unlikely event you haven't seen it, here's San Antonio's official greenway map.

An inquiry to the San Antonio Wheelmen might be apropos.
