Anyone have a loop rout from Tucson to Parker Lake or Tucson to Organ Pipe National Park? 2-4 days. Gravel and easy single track is ok.

Hello Bob,
While I have not done a loop, I have done a one-way, mostly.  I highly recommend the Harshaw Road / San Rafael Valley Rd./ Canelo Pass Rd between Patagonia and AZ-83.  I continued onto Sierra Vista so did not turn right on AZ-83 to Parker Lake.

The road above starts out paved in Patagonia but switches to decent gravel (able to ride on 700x35).  I rode it one year in May.  Camped prior to Canelo Pass.  One of my favorite rides.  Couple of very good climbs.  No traffic except border patrol and maybe one or two ranchers.

Bring water & food out of Patagonia because there is nothing (except maybe bumming some from a Border Patrol).

Also, you might want to post on the "Routes" forums as the Regional Forums do not get much use at all.

Tailwinds, John
