Loaded touring across B.C.

Summer 2021.  Doing Icefield Parkway, then across B.C. to Vancouver and down Pacific Coast.
Rt. 1 looks very busy.  Thinking of Rt. 5 to Kamloops, then something from there to Vancouver, maybe Rt. 97 to Rt. 99, then down west of Garibaldi P.P.?  Road surfaces; camping options; Warm Showers?  Looking for suggestions and special places to visit.  Will be loaded camping.  Might also think of 16 up to Prince George then down 97.  Spectacular, or just a lot of km?
