Southern Tier (West to East)
« on: October 19, 2021, 03:39:33 pm »
We had an 8 man rotating team that started in San Diego (10/2) and made it to St. Augustine on 10/9. Biking is 2 hour shifts, rest for 14 hours, repeat.   We rode ~3100 miles in 176 hours.
Thanks for the full set of maps / routes.  Slow start up over the mountains, but blessed with great weather and ended with a 17.6 mph average.

Thanks again

I pedaled a fully loaded bicycle and mostly free-camped from southeast coastal Florida to San Diego in 54 days, with 44 days of cycling and ten zero days for rest and relaxation, tacos and beer, the good things in life.

Did the same from Stuart, Florida to Bangor, Maine in 22 days with 20 days cycling and two days off for weather and rain. Mostly all stealth camping.
