Green Mountain Loop- Advice/Tips?
« on: August 09, 2014, 03:33:56 pm »
Four of us "flat landers" from FLA planning bike tour following Green Mountain Loop beginning mid-Sept or early Oct. Flying to Burlington & renting hybrids at North Star Sports. Will stay at lodging on route.  Anyone familiar w this route, or any of the must see/stay/eat places please share your advice.  Thanks!!

You may be riding during leaf peeping season. That will make finding lodging difficult. Reservations well in advance, like now, would be advisable.

Also, the weather can be variable in October. A snow storm would not be out of the question.

That being said, it should be a glorious ride. Fall colors. Lots of sun, cool weather, great views.
