The U.S. 6 Charles Berry Bascule Bridge over the Black River, between Washington Avenue and Arizona Avenue, is closed as damage to the bridge is assessed and crews make the appropriate repairs. There is no estimated time as to when the bridge will reopen to traffic.

On Henderson Dr. I recommend getting on the NW path to go through the dark underpass and over the Lofton Henderson Bridge.

The bridge is reported to be reopened. The detour is no longer necessary.
