Central U P road bike routes

My wife and I are planning a weeklong tour in the Central U P: 6-7 days, 300 miles +/-, camping and motelling, late June and early July 2024.  We would appreciate any suggestions and links to maps, etc.  Thanks in advance, Paul Hemmerich

There is of course the North Lakes Route, which follows the north shore of Lake Michigan.

Pictured Rocks is off route and tricky to get to - but Lake Superior is spectacular.
At sunset, given all the copper and other minerals in the water, it shimmers a thousand shades.
(You should also take a short dip just to say that you got in.)
The unpaved roads are often sand bogs - simply impossible.  And the mosquitoes.
Just sayin'.
