Hello dear adventurers!

with a heavy heart I have to say goodbye to my beloved bike. Unfortunately, the airline that is affordable completely unclear about whether I can really take the bike with me or the flights where I could take that are just way too expensive  :'( :'( :'(

This is the bike:

SWITCH
SHIFTER Shimano Deore Shadow Plus
SHIFT SHIFT SHIMANO Deore M5100, 11-speed
CHAIN Shimano 105 HG601, 11-speed
CASETTE Shimano Deore M5100, 11-51 T., 11-speed
CURVEL HARNITURE ProWheel Aluminium, 42 T., 175 mm
Rear hub Shimano TX505

In San FranciscoI I had to replace the cassette, chain, brake disc and brake pads.
The bike store did not have the same components at the time, but they got me the right parts and the bike is really great.

The light unfortunately doesn't work anymore, but that's because of a cable...I couldn't do that myself, but it shouldn't be that hard....if you have some idea.

The tires I have completely changed before my trip. They are now Marathon Plus from Schwalbe. In front is an old tube, but I can give a new tube directly.

I've been months with this bike on the road and have not had a flat tire once.

If there is also interest in bike bags, I would give them away with the bike:

Unfortunately, the backpack is no longer usable, but the side pockets. Unfortunately, they have small holes on the sides after months, but still super to use.
A good lock I would also give directly.

The bike I would like to sell for at least 700-600$ with the rest of the stuff. It really is a great bike. Fast, light, robust and super suitable for long tours or just for the city. Back in Germany I would buy the same model again...because it has simply proven itself. I have met so many people on the trip with significantly more expensive bikes...but nothing broke to me, etc.... It was just fun

Julia
