North Lakes Section 2 maps G & H. Ferry service temporarily closed 7/2023

The S.S. Badger ferry service across Lake Michigan is temporarily closed due to a mechanical issue. See https://www.ssbadger.com/ for current information. There is another ferry that crosses the lake called the Lake Express, https://www.lake-express.com/. It goes between Milwaukee, WI and Muskegon, MI. These cities are both south of Manitowoc, WI and Ludington, MI. We suggest taking the main route or using the Lake Express ferry to get around the S.S. Badger ferry closure.

The tentative opening date is August 7. Check the USS  Badger website for updates.

Per their website, the S.S. Badger ferry service will be closed for the remainder of the 2023 season.
