Cross-Michigan tour?

On a recent tour someone recommended a group tour that crosses the lower peninsula of Michigan in an east-west direction.  I can’t find such a ride on the web.  I seem to remember reading about such a tour in the past.  Any hints?

Hear a link to the LMB sunrise tour, that I did a couple of times. They have others as well. You can link to their general calendar.

The rides are usually booked up well in advance, which is why there might not be a lot of advertising.

Also, a great state to make up your own routes. Have fun.

If you want to make up your own route, and as Ray B says it's easy to do in Michigan, check out the state's bicycling maps:

They show traffic volumes and whether there's a usable shoulder. Our experience is that they're accurate.

Thanks for the info.  My group of three has decided to follow the route that Adventure Cycling follows for its organized Great Lakes group tour.
