When I had my Co-Motion stolen, the police thought it was most likely stolen by a homeless person.  Anyway, I contacted all the bike shops withing 150 miles, the police, various FB groups in the area, etc. to let them know.  Lo and behold, several months later a person who "bought" the bike at a garage sale brought it in looking to get some work done. The bike shop knew it was my bike and got the police involved so I got my severely trashed bike back. In my case, the insurance paid for a new bike.

My point is, be sure to contact the various powers to let them know it is stolen.  You might get it back.

Hope 2024 is better for you.  Tailwinds, John

Hi John,
Immediately after the theft I notified all local authorities, all the local bike shops and various local cycling groups. No leads in close to three weeks, so I thought I'd post it here as well. The more eyes out there, the better!

Cheers,
Doug

Have you checked either Project 529 or Bike Index?

https://project529.com/garage

https://bikeindex.org/

Also, consider registering any other bikes you own.
