C&O Canal Bike tour in June 2024?

Hey folks, I live in Potomac, MD, near the start of the C&O towpath, and I am interested in finding a few cohorts to do a 3 night/4 day quick tour (camping) on the C&O path to Cumberland, taking the train back to DC.  I would probably ride on my mountain bike with fat tires and stay in either the path bike sites or commercial campgrounds if they are easy and close to the path. 

I'd love to also do the GAP trail but not really sure I have the extra 4-5 days for that this trip.

About me:  Male, 60, in good shape, with over 5K miles of touring over the years.  Been an Adventure Cycling member for something like 25 years, as an FYI.

Yeah, did that last year and the GAP earlier this year.  Still nice to know about the other riders board!
