GDMBR .GPX file size

I've loaded all the GDMBR .gpx on my Garmin Edge 1030 Plus, and it doesn't appear there are any issues with file size regarding the Edge's memory.  Does anyone know if there will be lag-time issues if I use the files as-is (since each file covers hundreds of miles).  Should I go to the effort of breaking up the files into smaller chunks, or should the files be fine as-is?

File size as a whole is not the problem. The limitations of a GPS are usually in the number of tracks (say 100) and the number of points per track (say 10,000). There is also a limit to the number of waypoints.
