The Great Divide Mountain Bike Route 2025 (Looking for Companions)

I had planned to ride the GDMBR this summer (2024) and due to unforeseen circumstances this could not take place. However, I am looking for a riding partner / partners for riding the GDMBR in the summer of 2025 (July,August) from Banff BC to Antelope Wells New Mexico.

Hey there. My name's Matthew. I'm 55 y.o. in relatively good shape and have been planning to ride the GDMBR for a couple of years now. I'm putting together a plan to ride at least 1/2 of the route summer of 2025 - Southbound. My tentative plan is to start in Banf on or around June 20 (after the Tour Divide gets way ahead of me) and ride to Steamboat CO over about 30 days. At this pace, I'm hoping to ride at a comfortable pace - 40-50 miles per day with a couple of days every week as rest days.

If you're still looking to ride the GDMBR this coming summer and are interested in a riding companion and what I've described seems like a good first match with what you might be looking for, feel free to send me a message and we can talk a bit more. Hi Matthew. Sorry for not replying earlier. Sounds you see really interested in doing at least part of the GDMBR. I would consider doing half with you but not sure about the timing for June 20th. Would you consider later like later in June or early July?
