Eastern Express section 2 temporary closures

Highway 33 in Missouri is experiencing several closures and detours due to construction and maintenance projects. A bridge replacement project near Holt and Kearney is causing a full closure of MO 33 between MO Route CC and Burris Road. Additionally, there are closures and flagging operations scheduled for MO 33 at 172nd Street in Clay County.

We were able to walk around the bridge as the creek was dry but it was steep.

Another closure-
The next one was on Route "T" or West 73rd St just before Fleming. Triple Springs Rd is a hilly gravel road.  Do not suggest taking that.  We did and regretted it. It was very steep up and down.
The highway may be a better option through Richmond and around.
