I had hoped to see some statements of progress by now. Nothing here, nothing at https://saveacahq.org, either. If anyone knows something, could they please post.

So, this isn't all you hoped for, but the ACA did put out a newsletter on February 11. It doesn't say much definitively other than we're working on it, and stay tuned.

It seems to me that everything has simply ground to a halt.
Yes, after all the energy expended, everyone is worn out.
But, now is the time to move forward.

I understand that the current leadership may be depressed.
With the second vote defeat and Andy's resignation, the situation is challenging.
I have asked and would like to know whether or not there have been other resignations.

It's now been a month since the Feb. newsletter - which was pretty limited.
Has an interim executive director been approved?
Has there been outreach to former members?
Has membership dropped further since the second vote?

For the past few years, I've gotten fundraising emails every week.
Not only is it essential to keep current members informed,
but it will also act as a way to resolve recent disagreements.

Retreat and silence will only cause further harm.

The Save ACA Committee meets every Wednesday evening via Zoom.  When there are developments to report, they'll be sent out to those on its mailing list.  Absent any reports, assume nothing new.  Then again, you can always write and inquire.  I wouldn't give much credulity to any news ACA posts on the website until staff and board have demonstrated a willingness to leave the BS and PR verbiage behind.

Attempting to contact The Save ACA Committee by entering SaveACAHQ.org doesn't work. Is there a workable contact?

I do not find what little has taken place since January very encouraging.
There was a window of attention and focus that may have been lost.
Or, some people may have wished for everything simply to blow over.

Are you on the email list of the Save ACA Committee?  When there's news to announce a committee member will do so by email.  As I've recently learned, there are now 24 candidates for the BOD, with interviews under way.  One candidate, a former BOD member, is a member of Save ACA.  The current board members all term out in December 2026.

The email address is: info@saveacahq.org.
The saveacahq.org website seems to be only spottily available. My email to info@saveacahq.org from several days ago has yet to be delivered; gmail tells me "There was a temporary problem delivering your message to info@saveacahq.org. Gmail will retry for 45 more hours. You'll be notified if the delivery fails permanently."

I similarly tried emailing the info@saveacahq.org address that DW recommended, and also received a problem-delivery message.

A member of the Save ACA Committee tells me that both its email address and website have been taken down  to save money.  The board now requests that all inquiries be sent to it at: governance@adventurecycling.org.

Meanwhile, the mediation sessions continue.  More news is expected within the next two weeks.
