The Chain of Rocks canal bridge in Illinois is closed for construction/repairs, which means there is no connection to the Old Chain of Rocks Bridge across the Missouri River now through early October 2026. Another option to cross the Missouri River is to use the McKinley Bridge Bikeway further south.
