Northern Tier Section 8 Chili Indiana State Road 19 bridge over Eel River closed

Construction on State Road 19 bridge over Eel River in Chili, Indiana begins on or after August 3, 2026.
Don't have details but expect it may be closed for several months.
Suggest using County Road 700 North and Paw Paw Pike as preferred detour during closure.
These roads are older chip and seal paved roads with a good surface.
I live near here and ride these roads often.
