Are there any points of interest one might be interested in seeing along the pacific coast ride, starting in british colunbia, and working on down.  :)

I did the trip in 1986 and it was the best experience of my life. There are so many landmarks but the best is to find them on your own. You will find many things along the way that may mean a lot to you but not to others. It's all about the experience

Right on, Lobo! One of my finest experiences on that route: in the redwood groves walk two minutes away from the road to a quiet place for lunch. Lie down and look up, up, up through those trees.

As the others have said there are hundreds of amazing things that you will discover. But one i'd suggest is stopping at the dairies in Oregon and trying the amazing free samples and buying a massive, fresh, delicious ice cream.

I followed the route suggested by the book "Bicycling the Pacific Coast", supplemented by ACA maps, on my ride during the summer of 2002.  In addition to providing routes and possible places to stay, the book is chock-full of tips on interesting places to visit and things to see.
