Touring in Ireland
« on: March 21, 2005, 06:46:47 pm »
My husband and I would like tour in Ireland for a week this summer.  Due to the logistics of the trip, I'll have way too much STUFF, so a supported tour (ie we don't have to bike our gear) would be best.  Does anyone have any suggestions for companies that do a good job?

Thanks,

Melanie

Hi Melanie,

I would suggest you try emailing directly to the Cyclists Touring Club in Ireland as they are local.I'm sure they will be pleased to advise on local companies offering supported tours.Their website is below:

Hope this helps,
Buitenlander.

There is a touring company in Ireland named the "Iron Donkey" that runs both supported and self-guided tours in Ireland and England. They sound like what you are looking for. Their web site is:
