What is the best meal anyone made while touring? Any great and simple recipes?

Breakfast is my most important meal. Take the following with a grain of salt since my longest tour has been 10 days.

I put all this in 10 Ziploc bags, (except for the boiling water), 1 for each breakfast. Each morning I boil water to make coffee and my breakfast.

1 cup Grape Nuts cereal
1/2 cup dry milk
2 tsp raisins
2 pkgs artificial sweetener
2 cups boiling water

Subs for the raisins are easy to make. (Nuts, dried cranberries, dried apricots, etc, nothing).

Lazy guy that I am I look for easy food preperation.  I get a package of tortillas some package shredded cheese and make quesdalles.  These can be heated or eaten cold.  I also found bacon that doesn't need to be refrigerated.  As you can see I'm not a health food advocate.

Hi!

You can check out a journal I've been working on that talks about 'eating well and well within the budget."
