Let me know if you need help with anything for your trip here Tony... I am based in Sydney and work at one of the city's best bike shops.

That's really kind of you and I'll give you a shout nearer the time.  I've decided on August to October if I am unable to go in March

Can you send me an email address via IM please

Many thanks
Tony

Hi, How long does it generally take to get a picture up on FLT? I submitted one of my Novara Safari a couple weeks ago and am impatiently waiting for it to show up, since there are only three others in the entire gallery.

On another note, from the posted photos, it looks like the Surly Long Haul Trucker is becoming the bike of choice for fully-loaded touring, at least in North America. I was scoping them out at a LBS yesterday, and will eventually replace the Safari with an LHT. It has a lot of the features of the Co-Motion Pangea, which I really like, but a much more reasonable price. Can't help but like that, too!

Ride safe,
Hans

Great question! I've submitted several over the course of a couple years and nada, nothing, nichts. I don't think the site is active to be honest!

FLT site is eveidently no more. Tried to go there today and the domain is expired. Maybe they will renew it, and maybe not. Stephane Marchiori has the start of a similar gallery on the CycloCamping.com http://cyclocampingforum.com/index.php?action=gallery;cat=2 website. It pnly has 18 pictures so far, but it's a start, and not nearly as many rules as FLT.

FLT still has not been updated in many months. Personally, although my bikes are on CycloCamping, I would go with the CrazyGuy collection. FLT only posted "classic" configuration (front and rear panniers, or front panniers and trailer, NO people and some scenery.) Neither of the other two are that restrictive.

Hello All, if you are interested in sharing your loaded bike photos with the world, then please check out our BLOG (best viewed with FireFox, Safari, Opera, or Internet Explorer 9) for details.

Go to pedalpowertouring.com and mouse over, "Gallery of Bikes" and select either: "Bikes With Panniers", "Bikes With Trailers", or " Mountain Bikes With Bags" for more details.
