A week in Southern Indiana creating my own "TRIRI." (See http://www.triri.org/).

I plan to be on the official TRIRI this year in the middle of Indiana.  Several nice state parks are on the list.  TRIRI 2005 toured the SW section of the state.  We rode into French Lick and I learned that Larry Bird has an honest claim on being a hillbilly.  There are hills down there.

Driftless & Russell.

Do you know about the Hoosier Bike-way System?  Based on your comments, I am starting a new thread under the Routes topic. Anyone interested in touring Indiana (yes, there are hills in the south) may want to check in.

OH BOY, I can't wait for summer. We are jumping on an Amtrak and stopping in Grand Forks ND. After we assemble our bikes my wife and I are headed for Ely MN and the longest paved bike trail in the US. After that we are cruising the entire state of MN to see the lakes and all of the other paved trails it has to offer. Minnesota has more paved trails than any other state in the US. How can you pass up that? Then back to Grand Forks and a train home.

I'm graduating from college in May and am leaving for Seattle, WA May 20th to start the Northern Tier route. I'm riding with an Irish guy whom I met up with through this website. I can't wait for summer!

I am that Irish guy! Looking forward to May !

I had a somewhat bemused reaction from my folks when I casually explained to them that I was going to get on a plane next Summer and cycle across the USA with some guy I met on the internet!

I'm going to make a third attempt at a Great Parks tour in Utah and Colorado this year. I got hit in Louisiana (rebroken left collarbone) in 2004 and, after recovering, did a 48-state circumnavigation instead. I barely skimmed the area due to poor planning last year. As soon as I clear up some code enforcement problems at my home here in Florida I'm off to those wide open spaces out west. I can't wait.

How about going on the B&O canal trail & The Great Allegheny Passage from DC To Pittsburgh Pa. and ,maybe a two or three day trip on Cape Cod .Of course the MOOSA ride in northern Maine sounds good too. I also am signed up to go on a tour called The Ride For Runaways that raises money for Anchor House in Trenton NJ which of course tries to help runaways in that general area of NJ and eastern Pa . What a laundry list of rides and I have a MS 150 that I will go on.
I hope all this works out because I have a wacky work schedule.
      Smooth trails & roads !
