My podiatrist says that I need wider shoes. Anyone know which touring or mountain shoes are wide?

Carnacs are often said to run wider than most other cycling shoes, even wider than other companies "wide".  How about using the Shimano SPD sandals?

Sidi offers both the Dominator ($300 MSRP) and Bullet ($150 MSRP) models in what they call their Mega sizing. Mega=Wide. They fit my feet wonderfully, size 13 wide.

Now on my second pair of Dominators in 8 years.  I still use the old ones, though the velcro straps have seen their better days.  I accidentally melted them having set them too close to a fire to dry on one particular cold winter night camping.

The only weakness would be the velcro straps. I'd love to see a shoe with multiple Ultra SL Buckles. My shoes are on and off a lot.  Over time the Velcro tends to lose its ability to hold.

Thanks for the replies. I see that Lake shoes also have wide sizes. I have sandals and like them alot but want to have a choice and a warmer shoe at times too.
