Anyone had knee surgery?

I recently had arthroscopic surgery with "lateral release" on my right knee.  Recovery is ok and I expect to ride again.  I'd be keenly interested to hear from anyone out there who has had similar treatment and recovered to ride long distance again.

I had arthroscopic surgery on my left knee at about age 50 or so. I have done a lot of riding since, including a coast to coast self contained ride at age 65. My left knee has been as good as new. I am now 66.

I also had the surgery about 7years ago and recovered just fine.  Take it easy!
