Best Europe Touring Books
« on: October 28, 2007, 08:21:52 pm »
I'm planning an extended multi-country cycling tour through western
Europe for Spring of 2008 and would like to start compiling some
guide books and good european touring literature.  Does anyone have
any recommendations for the best books on cycle touring in Europe?
Favorites?  Or any that you recommend I don't buy?

Thanks for the advice!

Cheers,

the lonely planet guides are really good - i used them almost exclusively while living in europe for three and half years.

michelin green maps are also perfect for cycle tourists and ubiquitous in all the train stations.

the books by nadine slavinsky are also really good resources.

hit me up on email: jason.b.nicholson@us.army.mil

i'd be glad to answer any questions and even give some great tips on what to do and not to do - particularly when it comes to saving money.
