We've just started to tour with our tandem and trailer. Our question is this, how do two persons fit all their gear into a trailer that's made for one person? (Burley Nomad)

tandem trailers? :-)

I think a lot of gear planning thought to figure out things that can be shared would be in hand, but you can carry a trailer and panniers, at least that is how I've seen it done before..

my wife and I use panniers in addition to our BOB trailer and it is still a challenge to fit everything since we tour with camping and cooking gear. I would also suggest adding front panniers to balance the weight and handling.

Easy answer; pack light, do laundry often.  ;)

i think that if you need more than a bob and four panniers you need to attend my class "pack light freeze at night"
