« on: January 18, 2009, 09:29:44 am »
Here is a report of what sounds like a wonderful 24 day cycling trip across the tibeten plateau, from Lhasa Tibet to Kathmandu Nepal via the Qomolugma Nature Preserve and Everest Base camp. The rider is from SoCal. He posted this on Telemarktips.com a ski site!  http://tinyurl.com/98tuo4

I have never cycled in that part of the world. Looking at the pictures reminds me of the book "Miles From Nowhere" written by Barbara Savage. If you are going to see that area, cycling is the way to do it.
