I'm looking at the Burley trailer...Any suggestions above and beyond?? Thank you!  Bernadette

the burley from my veiwpoint is an all around good trailer but burley warns in using the trailer in below freezing weather because the little rubberized connector that attaches the trailer to the bike can break. but if you have no plans to use the trailer in below freezing this can be overlooked.

I can't recommend Cycletote trailers highly enough.  We used a Burley for years, but we find the Cycletote to be much more stable--lower center of gravity.  Also, you can get it with 26" wheels for better rolling over rough ground and to match your existing tire size (700c available, too. We went with 20" to match our recumbent.) It is a bit heavier, for sure, but we still prefer it.  Check 'em out: Cycletote

I have the DoggyRide Novel. I really like this trailer. They did a great job on the design. The only thing I would recommend is getting something to put on top of the plastic that will help your pup keep from sliding around.
