Great Parks North Questions

I'm studying the possibility of riding this route between Jasper and West Yellowstone in July, about 26 days or so, and have a few things on my mind:

What are the pros and cons of riding from north to south versus south to north?

I will be riding alone but looking forward to teaming up with others as the opportunities occur. Is one direction better than the other for that?

The National Parks are heavily visited in July. Do I need to reserve camping along the way, and how far in advance?

How does one fly and otherwise get to or from the Jasper end?

How does one fly and otherwise get to or from the West Yellowstone end? How many days of riding are needed to get to or from the Jackson Hole airport? Are there other options?

Did you do this ride last year?  I am planning a trip from Bozeman to Jackson via Yellowstone.  Any suggestions.

Ditto.

My wife and I are planning to do the whole Great Parks route (North and South) this summer.  Probably the biggest question right now is how hard camping/hostel/hotel reservations will be to come by.

BTW, we are looking to start in mid/late June and finish in late August or early September.

I accidentally posted in the General Discussion, then found this thread.  I'm driving Denver, Grand Teton, Yellowstone, Glacier the first week of Sept.  In Glacier I PLAN to take off on my bike north to Jasper.  I have the SAME questions as everyone!  North to south? South to north?  Then, how to get home.  Taking south-north, taking Viarail from Jasper leaves me 6 hours from home on this end.  Going north-south, I could end in West Glacier, where the Amtrak station is.  WHAT ADVICE CAN YOU GIVE ME, assuming you just are finishing the whole enchilada?
Thanks!
