cycling in Dordogne/Lot region

Is anyone interested in learning about cycling routes in SW France's Dordogne/Lot region? We're Americans who have lived here for 4 years and love to extol the virtues of this region's back roads and awesome landscapes and architecture.

Yes!  I am planning a trip from Limoges to Bordeaux in autumn 2010, and would love to include some detours through the Dordogne/Lot/Perigord.  Thanks!

Enlighten us. I would be interested, in your perspective. Cycling in the wine country of Bordeaux would be a great trip. I have cycled through Europe, but never got to the Dordogne/Lot Region.

I did a month long bike tour in France in 2008 that included rides along the Dordogne, Lot, and Tarn river gorges.  The Dordogne was nice, the Lot fabulous, the Tarn unbelievable.  My trip started in Paris and went to Normandy before heading south.  The trip journal for the entire trip is here.

I hit the Dordogne River at a village named Limeuil on day 17.  Here is that page of the journal.

I had a bad accident while in France (broke a couple of ribs, had a huge bruise on my hip and a lacerated elbow) that occurred 2 days before I got to the Dordogne.  Some of the journal entries have pictures of the damage I had.  If such things bother you, don't read the journal.
