Southern Tier Hurricane damage 2005

Several geezers have been doing the southern tier in stages.  We finished last spring in Bogalusa, LA where my brother lives.  Bogy was hit very hard by Katrina as was most of S. Central Mississippi.  We are in a pinch for our first couple of days out of Bogy on our way to Dauphin Island for places to stay or even camp.  If anyone has any thoughts, we would be delighted to hear from you.
