Vancouver BC route info???

Has anyone ridden the downtown Vancouver route recommended on Adventure Cycling's Pacific Coast map?
I'll be arriving by train and am trying to decide if I should ride the route through downtown as suggested on the map or if I should take a taxi to the hotel in Surrey. Let me know if you've been down this road before.

I'm not sure about the route they recommend, but if you don't want to ride, you can take yur bike to Surrey on the Skytrain (rapid transit), with some restrictions. Probably save you as much as you'll pay for a hotel room.

Adventure Cycling has a brand new route in and out of Vancouver that
was just researched a couple of months ago. We just got these maps back
from the printer. If you send me your email address I can send you pdf's
of the new route coming out of Vancouver.
