I'm looking for a good route from Pittsburgh to Sandusky whicn can be done in 2 days.  I saw that the ACA store has a Cleveland/Pittsburgh Connector map which will probably get me to Akron.  My questions are:

1) Anyone know where I can find (or have good suggestions) a good route from Pittsburgh to Sandusky or at least Akron to Sandusky?

2) If I decide to purchase the Cleveland/Pittsburgh Connector, anyone know how up-ro-date it is?

Thanks,
MTK

The Lung Association "Big Ride" went to Washington DC from the west coast.  Their web site gives the towns en route but not the roads. I think that they went thru Sandusky, Cleveland, and Pittsburgh areas.

I am heading West this summer from Washington DC and will not pick up the ACA route til Monroeville IN.  I considered going all the way up to Cleveland and then Sandusky but think it is a bit longer. I will get on PA state bike route S to Houston PA.  From there, I only have a mapquest route across the WV panhandle to Jewett OH where I take the Conotton Creek Trail to New Philadelphia, PA.  In New Philadelphia, I will pick up the Ohio and Erie Canal Tow path which could take you to Cleveland BUT I will get off around Barberton OH and head west in OH rt 224 until I hit Monroeville.  If rt 224 is bad for biking, I will head north til I pick up the ACA route to Sandusky.

What have you decided to date?

Sorry. I meant to say New Phili, Ohio, not PA.
