Anyone riding through Republic Wa on there tour this year, feel free to contact me for repair, questions, different routes, or a place to camp.  I also am a tourer, and know how nice it is to have a little insight to a new area.  There is no bike shops from Sandpoint Idaho to Omak Washington.  So if there is anything you need, I carry parts and am willing to meet you in a park for a little wrenching.  My family owns a log cafe/convience store (where I can be most likely found) on the corner or Hwy 20, and Hwy 21n just three miles out of Republic.  Feel free to contact me for info.  Good luck  Craig Cooper

Craig,

Thanks for the offer! My Northern Tier maps should be here any day now, but I will be starting from the East, so it will be a while until I am out your way. I will be sure to make a note of your contact info, nice to know that there are some people out there willing to loan a tool or host a tent.

Don't forget to write a blog on Crazyguy, especially if you're riding east to west. That's the way I'll be going next year. I'll be your most avid reader!

I was just working out my own tour route Boston to San Francisco via Yellowstone and Grand Tentons. I was wondering has anyone any opinions on Rte 6 through Ohio, Indiana and Illinois?

Craig,
This is wonderful. Your contact info is going into my log book immediately. I'm doing the NT beginning 1st or 2nd week in June and will probably stop there before the assault on Sherman Pass. Thanks!
